Pastor Mick Schultz Retirement

After many years in Children's Ministry, Mick and Karen Schultz, sensing God's calling, are entering a new phase in their lives. Karen has accepted a position at the Veterans Administration Clinic in Quincy, Illinois, and Mick is feeling led to retire from vocational ministry. While we will greatly miss Mick's energy, optimism, passion, and can-do attitude, we pray and are confident that this next phase of their lives will be full of God's blessings. Mick is committed to helping make a smooth transition of the children and youth ministries. Therefore, the timing of his retirement has not yet been finalized.

While we are excited about what God has in mind for the future, we know that Mick and Karen will be missed. We will schedule a time for Mick in late August to share how God is leading them. We will also discuss how the Children's Ministry Director and High School Pastor positions will function during this time of transition so that the ministries of our children and youth remain a top priority.

Please read Mick's announcement of his upcoming change.
