Children are a gift from God, and we are excited that God has blessed your family with a child. We believe it is the responsibility of parents to model for each child what trusting and following Jesus looks like. Parent/Child Dedication is a special time for parents to affirm their own commitment to cultivating the faith of their children, as well as the commitment of the community of believers to help parents do this. We offer Parent/Child Dedication quarterly as a part of a Sunday morning worship service. To participate in Parent/Child Dedication:
- Read "Dedicating Your Child".
- Attend a Parent/Child Dedication class. This class is normally scheduled one or two weeks before the dedication. Online registration will be available when a class is offered. This class helps parents gain a deeper understanding of the significance and symbolism of Parent/Child Dedication.
