Meet Amal & Carol Bejjani

From 1990 to 2004, Amal & Carol worked among refugees in the Middle East. Since 2004, they have been church-planting among Arabic-speaking refugees on this side of Refugee Highway. Their work involves an Arabic-speaking church plant, Bible Clubs during the school year, ESL classes, VBS and other outreaches in the summer, and a wide ministry of helps. Amal & Carol have two adult children, Amanda and Matthew; and they care for Therese, Amal's mother, who has Alzheimer's and has lived with them since 2017.

Prayer Requests

*Bible Clubs. We will have our Christmas Store on December 12, our last day of Clubs for this term. We've had erratic attendance this term and fewer numbers. Some of it may be due to some parents not wanting to send their kids. Pray for additional clubbers to join or return next term. Pray for the Lord to open hearts and homes.
*ESL Ladies' Class. Give praise that more ladies have been in attendance this term. Carol continues to teach the Bible portion of the class. Pray for the Lord's work in hearts and homes.
*Arabic-speaking church plant. Praise that we've had fairly consistent attendance this season. Pray for total commitment and growth. Pray especially for a single mom with 3 kids, and for a new family with two autistic children. Pray for our outreach on December 29 (expected to be well-attended, possibly by more people than were at the Thanksgiving outreach).
*Pray for breakthroughs in the ethno-religious communities we work with.
*Last but not least, pray for peace in our world.
