Prayer Requests
*Church Plant (Lincoln Grace Fellowship). Praise for fairly consistent attendance on regular Sunday evenings as well as outreach Sundays. Pray for the resolution of a current interpersonal issue in the church. Pray for the spiritual growth of believers, and for the salvation of others who attend. Pray for breakthroughs among the various ethno-religious groups we work with.
*A group associated with the church plant. Many of our neighbors and friends, who have found refuge in our city, are from Syrian Orthodox background. Recently, there was a death in that community, and we held a memorial service for them.
*Another group associated with the church plant. Many of our new neighbors and friends, who have found refuge in our city, are from Syrian Kurdish background. Praise that one family of four attends church regularly.
*Bible Club. Pray for gospel impact in young lives and their households. Pray for the mother of two of our clubbers, who continues to wait for a heart transplant and pray the Lord will open her heart to believe in him for her salvation.
*Ladies' ESL class. Praise for good attendance. Pray for gospel impact for the Bible story portion of the class.
*Ministry of Helps and Visits. Pray for the truth of the gospel to burn through the hearts of many, as we visit and offer help and share and pray in many homes.
*Team. Praise for our team here, that God has brought from various experiences of service to work together to reach the least-reached that God has brought to our midst. Pray we continue to work well together and see eternal fruit from our work (Psalm 90:17).
*Lord, have mercy on Lebanon, the southwestern region of Asia, and the world. Calls for aid have gone out from churches and aid groups like Médecins sans Frontières for the more than half-a-million displaced people from southern Lebanese villages (where a priest who refused to leave his parish was killed by the Israeli army) and Beirut and the Bekaa Valley. Pray that Jesus will enable his church to minister his mercy to the many needy and suffering around them.
