Matt Kearney, our GO Partner with Transform Nation is seeing an incredible harvest of souls through their ministry.

Matt writes, “Last August in Peru, we witnessed the largest number of people ever coming to faith in Jesus in a whole decade of our ministry. The final report we received from local churches is 4,005 people made decisions to follow Jesus! God is moving in similar ways in other Latin American countries as well. Please pray that revival would spread throughout the Americas.

In the Chicagoland, 132 people made decisions for Christ in 2019! Most came from our weekly outreaches in front of the Lake County Courthouse. Who are they and where are they from? They are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, white, black, Latino, Asian, homeless, wealthy, criminals and victims who now have a new identity in Christ. Most of them were referred to local churches near their homes and received beginner steps for discipleship.

These numbers represent real people whose stories are still being written. Please pray for all those who made decisions, that they would continue to grow in their faith in Jesus and that they would be a part of churches that love them and disciple them.

In March, I had to suspend all street ministry. That decision grieves me because there are many people who are suffering especially because of the financial impacts. But the Bible says to submit to authority, especially when it is for the good of the people. We will do what we can to continue reaching people with the Gospel online and encouraging people at this time. I have also made myself available to the Lake County Sheriff's office as a Street Chaplain on an as-needed basis.

As my ministry has gone more online it has been amazing to see conversations happen with former classmates of mine where I'm able to share the Gospel. Please pray that some would come to know Jesus!"
