Scoop, Seal & Send: Package Meals to Feed the Hungry
Saturday, January 11
The Foundry | 10:00 AM - Noon
Oftentimes, the most effective way to share the hope of Jesus is by caring for others. Last year, more than 40 million households in the U.S. faced food insecurity, with the global number equating to more than 400 million.
Will you help us be the hands and feet of Jesus to bring food to those in need?
On Saturday, January 11 from 10 AM - Noon in the Foundry we are partnering with Meals from the Heartland to package dry meals that will be provided to families locally, in national disaster areas and in developing countries around the world. This will be a fun, upbeat time with music and connection opportunities. It's a perfect event for inviting friends, serving as a family, or working together as a small group!
Event Details:
During the event we'll divide into small teams of 6-8 people that will form an assembly line to scoop dry rice and corn mixtures into bags, seal them up and pack them into boxes to be shipped out to areas in need. Learn more about the many roles you can play during the event HERE.
