At New Covenant, we strive for our church family to be always in community and always equipping. We believe that as Christ-followers, we must continually equip ourselves well to Pursue + Practice. Our core Discipleship Classes echo the three phases of our mission statement: Pursue God, Pursue Others with His Love, and Practice His Ways.

DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES

Class sizes are kept small to facilitate a sense of community within the group. We recommend everyone at New Covenant complete these three courses to benefit their spiritual walk. We think it's best to begin with the Pursuing God class before continuing to the Pursuing Others class, as well as the Practicing His Ways class. If you have questions, contact Andrew Boone.

PURSUING GOD CLASS

The Pursuing God Discipleship Class brings opportunities to equip ourselves well to Pursue + Practice, something that all Christ-followers are called to do. The class aims to help you cultivate a personal devotional life that includes Bible study, prayer, and spiritual disciplines. For anyone new to pursuing God through those means, the class will guide you in developing essential skills for your daily walk with God. It also builds on the fundamentals and offers time-tested ways to keep the pursuit of God vibrant and fresh.

PURSUING OTHERS CLASS

In the Pursuing Others class, participants will be equipped with skills for evangelism and discipleship:

  • Evangelism - those taking the class will learn and practice how to use their testimony to share the gospel. They will also develop some basic skills in Christian apologetics.
  • Discipleship - the class provides the opportunity to develop the skills needed to help other believers grow in their faith. Throughout the class, participants will engage in rich practice outside of class time and then debrief and discuss how it went with the teachers during class time.

Please complete the Pursuing God class before taking the Pursuing Others class.

WOMEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
Meets Thursdays 6:30-8:00 PM
Starting June 18, 2026

"Displaying the Grace of the Gospel - Titus" by Courtney Doctor and Hunter Beless

The gospel that saves us for all eternity is the same gospel that transforms us day-by-day. Knowing, believing, and living out the truths of the gospel changes not only our lives, but our homes, churches, and culture as well. This is how the gospel of grace is put on display for all to see.

In this 8-session Bible study, Courtney Doctor and Hunter Beless team up to explore every verse of Paul's letter to his friend Titus. You'll see the essential connection between right belief and right character and the way both testify to the goodness of the gospel. And you’ll be reminded that our world will be attracted to the gospel when they see its beauty displayed in us.

There will be a break the week of July 5 - 11 to allow you to volunteer at Overnight Summer Camp.

Men's Summer Study: The Titus Ten by J.Josh Smith
June 15 - August 25, 2026
Thursday Evenings - 6:30 - 8:00 PM

The Titus Ten - Bible Study Book with Video Access includes printed content for 10 sessions, personal study between group sessions, and applicable Scripture.

Tucked away near the end of the New Testament, you’ll find Paul’s letter to Titus. Scripture provides few details about Titus. But from this 46-verse letter, author Josh Smith has distilled ten foundations upon which to build godly men.

Using his time-tested teaching process, this study can serve as a manual for becoming the kind of man God intends for you to be and leading other men to do the same.

Taking ten qualities from the Apostle Paul's short letter to his mentee Titus, The Titus Ten will help you grow in your understanding of the gospel, your identity, your character, and more.

There will be a break the week of July 5 - 11 to allow men to volunteer at Overnight Summer Camp.
