Go Groups at New Covenant Bible Church are a fun and transformative Wednesday night gathering that trains kids from 3rd – 5th grade to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to get involved in ministry through hands-on experience. Go Groups meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM during the school year.

Who can participate in Go Groups?
Go Groups are for 3rd through 5th graders who demonstrate a desire to follow Jesus, reflect it in their behavior, and are ready to begin serving in ministry.

Expectations
To participate in these ministry teams, children and parents must demonstrate an ongoing commitment and full engagement, just as they would on a sports team. In addition to Christlike behavior at home, church, and school, Go Group expectations include regular devotions, Scripture memory, and regular attendance on both Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

Worship Group

Turn-It-Up helps children develop leadership skills in the area of worship. Using high-energy songs and choreography, the Turn-It-Up crew leads worship for multiple age groups in Children's Ministry on Sunday mornings. For the musically minded, this Go Group might be where God would have you this year!

Tech Group

Power-It-Up is for kids with a tech-savvy mindset. This group spends time exploring and learning the facets of video production, projection, editing, photography, audio technology, and lighting effects. They use ministry skills to operate sound/video for Children’s Church and large group gatherings involving children and families. For technically oriented kids, this is Go Group a great fit.

Care & Service

The Serve-It-Up Go Group practices the ways of Jesus in how we love and serve our neighbors, our community, and our church family. Practical and tangible, Serve-It-Up challenges kids and equips kids to help those in need in our community, to care for our church family, as well as find exciting ways to encourage those who serve us: pastors, teachers, military, and other local heroes. If you want to lead like Jesus, this Go Group is for you!

Sharing God's Word

Light-It-Up brings scripture to life and helps kids apply truths in scripture to their lives and the world around them. In this group kids will learn how to read scripture with the intent to learn its true meaning and how they can share what they are learning with their friends and neighbors.
