Meet Tim & Brenda

We are part of a church-planting team. We desire to see a mature church established among the "M" people, who currently have no access to the gospel in their language. Our focus during our current stage of ministry is on becoming effective communicators and teachers - learning the language and culture to the point of adult-level fluency so that we can share the truth clearly and powerfully!

Prayer Requests

*Please pray about the visa stalemate between the US and Chad. If it doesn't get resolved, all of us Americans will have to leave Chad within the year as our visas expire. Already people are having to leave, unsure of when or if they will get to come back. That could be us 10 months from now. It is a sobering reality. Please pray that our governments will reach an agreement to allow travel back and forth again. And for those of you who would like to, you can also help by reaching out to the state department, your senators and representatives to request that they spend time on this issue.
*All the teammates who live in our village are now gone on various travels. This leaves us by ourselves for the next 3-4 months. Pray that the Lord will sustain us and protect us during this season of extra isolation from other expats.
*Pray that God will help Tim to find a local man who will be available, willing, and capable to help with Bible translation.
*Pray that our project vehicle will be recovered and that the thieves will be caught. Not only will that be a huge relief to us, but also the more incidents like this that go by without proper resolution the more emboldened criminals get. They’ve been pretty bold lately.
