Prayer Requests

Please join us in praying for these needs:

  1. Our housing. Our housing situation remains uncertain. We are still living in the apartment next to our church and would love to stay here—and, if possible, purchase it.
  2. CTU and the upcoming gathering of Central Asian leaders. Through Christ to the Unchurched (CTU), the mission agency we lead, we are preparing to bring together leaders from all five Central Asian countries on April 26–30.  Please pray for the preparations, the resources needed, and meaningful fellowship and learning among those who attend.
  3. Talant’s book. Talant has completed the manuscript of Basics of Christian Faith. To our knowledge, it is the first systematic theology book written in Kazakh by a Kazakh author. Please pray for the editing, formatting, and publishing process, and that this book will help Kazakh-speaking believers deepen their understanding of Scripture and grow in their knowledge and love of God.
  4. Talant’s upcoming U.S. trip. Talant will be in Chicago, Illinois, and Grand Rapids, Michigan, October 1–7. Please pray for safe travels, strength, and fruitful meetings as I share about God’s work in Central Asia. Pray that God will deepen existing relationships and connect us with new churches and supporters who share our desire to strengthen indigenous churches.
