Meet Eric & Melissa McDonald

Eric and Melissa McDonald minister to international students and professors at the University of Iowa. They share the good news of Jesus Christ with students, teach, disciple, send, and follow-up those who have returned to their home country.

Prayer Requests

- Relationships to be built between Internationals and Americans at today's outreach event. 
- That a dozen students would commit to studying the Bible with us at our potluck Bible studies. 
- That we could meet with some of these students for conversations that move them closer to Christ. 
-Also pray for the 43 international students who have been matched with families from local churches for friendship during the school year. Pray these families would be  share about the hope that is in them with these students and that several would come to saving Fatih. I matched with a student from Bangladesh named Ubayeid. 
- Pray for another upcoming outreach event at an Amish farm for a tour in September. At this event students will hear a gospel presentation from a wonderful born again Amish man.
-Please pray for energy and stamina for Melissa and I. This stage of life has many demands on our time and energy. Pray for rest, the wisdom when to say no, and the energy that God provides.  Melissa's MS symptoms have been mild this summer, pray this continues into the school year. Thank you! Let us know how we can pray for you.
