Meet Amal & Carol Bejjani

From 1990 to 2004, Amal & Carol worked among refugees in the Middle East. Since 2004, they have been church-planting among Arabic-speaking refugees on this side of Refugee Highway. Their work involves an Arabic-speaking church plant, Bible Clubs during the school year, ESL classes, VBS and other outreaches in the summer, and a wide ministry of helps. Amal & Carol have two adult children, Amanda and Matthew; and they care for Therese, Amal's mother, who has Alzheimer's and has lived with them since 2017.

Prayer Requests

*Praise for another opportunity to do this outreach event (for the 21st year) for our new and newish neighbors and their children in Lincoln, Nebraska.
*Pray for these things:
   -contacting, visiting, and signing up kids of all ages for VBS/Summer Bible Club 2025 (still ongoing this week);
   -registration; OK team of about 30 people, preparing, traveling, and ministering with all of us at this end;
   -transportation needs and safety; unity in diversity, among all volunteers/workers;
    -sensitivity to cross-cultural issues; safety throughout the week of July 21-25; the weather (ideally, in the 90's for water games outside);
   -children with special needs;
   -various parts of the daily programs for all 3 groups, i.e., music/songs, teaching, review/application, crafts, games/water games, and snacks;
   -ladies' circle; and for the week to be a blessing and a time of learning and growth all round,
   - and for the Lord to cause breakthroughs to happen among the various least-reached groups that will be represented.
