Meet Amal & Carol Bejjani

From 1990 to 2004, Amal & Carol worked among refugees in the Middle East. Since 2004, they have been church-planting among Arabic-speaking refugees on this side of Refugee Highway. Their work involves an Arabic-speaking church plant, Bible Clubs during the school year, ESL classes, VBS and other outreaches in the summer, and a wide ministry of helps. Amal & Carol have two adult children, Amanda and Matthew; and they care for Therese, Amal's mother, who has Alzheimer's and has lived with them since 2017.

Prayer Requests

*Praise for the many reconnections and new connections made during our missionary journey this summer through several cities in Ontario, Canada. Pray for the perseverance and fruitful witness of the individuals, families, and churches we were able to visit.
*Praise for a good Summer Bible Club 2025, and for the participation of many from various walks of life, both among those who served in so many capacities and those who sat under the proclamation of the Good News. Pray for the Spirit to bring about good fruit in many lives in the long term.
*Praise for another season of ministry, as we resume the Fall activities of ESL and Bible Clubs. Pray for good fruit from these ministries.
*Praise for the slow yet visible progress of the Arabic Church Plant. Pray for continued spiritual and numerical growth, and for our Fall outreach events culminating in our big Christmas event.
*Praise for the salvation of Zee's mother who is now homebound. Pray for her spiritual growth, and for the reunification of Zee with his wife and son.
*Praise for the three local bodies, English-speaking, Spanish-speaking, and Arabic-speaking, that gather every Sunday at the building of Grace Community. Pray for our growth in faith and love and hope, and for eternal fruit from our witness.
*Praise for our long-standing friendship with Pan and her household: she seems to be drawing closer to the kingdom. Pray for wisdom as we care for Pan's children, while she is away for the week of September 21-28.
*Praise for another long-standing relationship with Jud's large household. Pray for his son, Kee, who had a dream of Jesus when his prematurely-born twins, a girl and a boy, were very sick; following the dream, Jud called us and asked for prayer; following our visit and Bible study and prayer in the presence of the whole household, the boy got better, while the girl who was still at the Children's Hospital in Omaha gained enough weight to qualify for heart surgery -- the twins were born 2 months early, and while the boy came home after a month, the girl stayed at the hospital with a heart defect (the twins are now 4 months old). Her surgery will be on Monday, September 22. Pray for successful surgery that will allow her to come home soon.
