MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I hope your Christmas was filled with joy and wonder. A few weeks ago Pastor Tye talked about the shepherds and the awe and wonder they must have felt when the angel appeared to them. Isn't it neat how God has set up families! We as parents are often burdened with the weight and responsibility of daily life, yet we are raising little children filled with awe and amazement over almost everything. Often I am annoyed by the constant questions or stopping to look at something brand new to their eyes. But this Christmas I chose for it to be a gift. Every time my kiddos eyes got big or their excitement started building I joined them. Their excitement was over little things, like presents, seeing their cousins, and sleeping in Grandma's living room. As I joined them in the little things I was reminded of Tye's message and had the opportunity be amazed by all God has done for me.
