MTAs meet Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM
Ministry Training Academy (MTA) is a dynamic ministry that trains and releases children to learn ministry through hands-on experience. Children who participate in MTA have demonstrated Christ-like behavior and are pursuing a relationship with Jesus.
Who can participate in MTA?
MTA is for 3rd-5th graders who demonstrate a desire to follow Jesus, reflect it in their behavior, and are ready to begin serving in ministry. Attend MTA orientation on Wednesday, August 29 at 6:30 PM to sign up.
What areas can my child choose from as an MTA?
A-Team (Art Team)
The Art Team allows the kids to serve by developing skills in designing and building set backdrops, decor, etc. for Children's Church.
Foam Heads (Puppet Team)
Foam Heads used puppets as a ministry tool on Sunday mornings during Children Church.
G-Force (Games Team)
The Games Team plans games for the Kindergarten KBF to reinforce the Big Idea of the month.
In-Focus is a camera crew that learns how to use photo equipment to capture "photo stories" and how to edit photos to be used in various ministry areas and promotional publications.
T-Squad (Tech Team)
The Tech Squad is for those children ‘geared’ toward a computer mindset. They will spend time exploring and learning the facets of video projection, video recording, editing, audio technology, and lighting. They will use their ministry skills to operate sound/video for Children’s Church and large group gatherings involving children and families.
Turn It Up (Worship Team)
Turn It Up helps children develop leadership skills in the area of worship. Turn It Up ministers during Sunday services, Family Experience (FX), and special events.
