Thanks for all the encouragement and prayers as we seek God’s man for our next Senior Pastor. These past weeks have been spent building a strong foundation for our national search.

As many of you know, the Elders approved the use of an organization called Slingshot Group to assist us in our search. Our representative, Todd Clark has been very helpful as we look to finish up our church profile and job description in the next few weeks. Once these steps are completed, we expect that candidate inquiries will begin coming in.

While we wait, continue to pray for our leadership, staff, and body. We may be in transition as a church family, but we are still on mission. Let’s not miss out on what God wants to teach us during this time of waiting and change.

Here are some specific prayer requests: (Pray specifically, boldly, and in Jesus’ name)

• Unity - Search Team / Staff / Elders / Body
• Bandwidth - The search process is beginning to pick up steam. Pray for our search team as we try to balance the needs of the search team with the demands of everyday life.
• Wisdom & Discernment - This journey is so much bigger than any of us. In the coming months, our team will face numerous decisions that we will need to process together.
• Communication - As a search team, we realize that for many, there may be more unanswered questions than answered questions. During those times of uncertainty, would you grant us goodwill and grace? We will bring forth a candidate in due time.
