Small Groups

At New Covenant, Small Groups are the foundation for pursuing God, building healthy relationships, and learning to practice His ways. They're how we "do life" here at New Covenant, offering a safe space where you can Be Known, Be Encouraged, and Be Challenged in your faith.

Just recently we began the ReWired message series. We are unpacking six practices that are essential for ongoing spiritual formation: Commitment, Hospitality, Engaging the Scriptures, Spiritual Friendships, Contribution, and Movement. Small Groups are the perfect environment to engage in these practices as we move toward the goal of Christlikeness.

"These practices carry tremendous power to sanctify us and build God's kingdom. I'm excited to see current groups continue working toward this, as well as new groups, form around this goal." Andrew Boone, Family Life Director

Our Small Groups Fall semester is getting ready to launch in September. If you are thinking about joining a Small Group, now is the time to get connected. The Group Connect event on Sunday, August 22, following the 10:30 AM service, is your best next step. Group Connect is a little like a "speed dating" event – a one-stop-information-shop, making it easier for you to plug into a small group that fits your schedule and your life.

At Group Connect, you will enjoy a light lunch and get to know some small group leaders, where and when they meet, and what topics they plan to cover. Groups that form out of Group Connect will meet for the fall semester. You'll leave the event with a new-found tribe of fellow believers with whom you'll "do life" and grow together spiritually. If you're already in a small group but want to explore other options, this event is a great place to do that, too.

Please register online for Group Connect. Child care will be available for those who pre-register.  Stop by the Small Groups table on Main Street anytime this month for additional info or email Andrew Boone.
