Our partnership with Hiawatha Elementary School gives us an exciting avenue to share God's love in our community. We want all kids to start the school year with confidence, equipped with all they need to thrive academically. 

Here's where you come in. Let's pursue His ways by providing Hiawatha School with 150 backpacks for students who need a little help. Grab your Small Group, pack a backpack as a family, or fill one on your own.

Backpack Items Needed

• 1 - Backpack (no wheels)
• 1 - 3" 3-ring binder (white) clear view front
• 1 - 4-pack glue sticks
• 2 - Kleenex boxes
• 2 - 24-pack Ticonderoga brand pencils
• 4 - Vinyl folders, 3-prong, 2-pocket plain
• 1 - 4-pack thick black dry erase markers
• 1 - 4-pack thin black dry erase markers 

The Personal Touch
Feel free to add a photo of your group or family and/or write an encouraging letter to the student, with a return address of the church (3090 N. Center Point Rd, Cedar Rapids, IA 52411).

Collection Deadline
Please return your backpack to the tub near the Welcome Center at New Covenant by Sunday, August 2.
