Elementary Associate Search Update

Thank you for all the prayers in support of our search for an Elementary Associate. We are trusting that God will provide a person who compliments parents in training up children and maintains a safe and welcoming environment that builds disciples in our children.

As many of you know, the Elders approved a search committee to begin the search for our Elementary Associate position. On March 1, 2018, we contracted with a church staffing website called Churchstaffing.com to assist us in the search. Unfortunately, the use of Churchstaffing.com, as well as posting the position on our website and various other college/institutional websites have not been successful in helping us find a quality candidate for helping us reach our discipleship goals.

On May 1, 2018, the elders approved the utilization of the Slingshot Group to assist in the search for our Elementary Associate position. The Slingshot Group is the same organization we are using for our Senior Pastor search. We are confident they will help us to identify a quality candidate in a timely fashion. The cost for their services is covered through generous gifts that made this decision possible.

As of June 2018, I’m happy to report that the position profiles are complete for both the High School/college and Elementary positions and Slingshot group is interviewing candidates to hand off to our search committees to evaluate.

Please pray for:
• God to prepare the hearts of the people that He has planned for our church family.
• God to provide a person who compliments parents in training up children and maintains a safe and welcoming environment that builds disciples in our children.
