Thank you for all the prayers in support of our search for a High School/College Pastor. We are trusting that God will provide us with a Pastor who will create an atmosphere that builds disciples in our youth and college-age students.

As many of you know, the Elders approved a search committee to begin the search for our High School/College Pastor.  On March 1, 2018, we contracted with a church staffing website called Churchstaffing.com to assist us in the search. Unfortunately, the use of Churchstaffing.com, as well as posting the position on our website and various other college/institutional websites have not been successful in helping us find a quality candidate for helping us reach our discipleship goals.

On May 1, 2018, the elders approved the utilization of the Slingshot Group to assist in the search for our High School/College Pastor. The Slingshot Group is the same organization we are using for our Senior Pastor search. We are confident they will help us to identify a quality candidate in a timely fashion. The cost for their services is covered through generous gifts that made this decision possible.

As of June 2018, I’m happy to report that the position profiles are complete for both positions and Slingshot group is interviewing candidates to hand off to our search committees to evaluate.
