Event Details

This year our Budget Info and Constitution Revision Info meetings will be combined and offered two times.

Mark your calendar for a short meeting on either Sunday, June 21 or 28 immediately following our 11:00 AM service in the Worship Center. Both meetings will be identical with a summary of the proposed budget and constitutional revisions, as well as an opportunity for questions and answers. Copies of the proposed budget and constitution revisions will be available beginning June 21 at the Welcome Center. Ballots (paper or electronic) will be available from June 21 until July 10. The voting process will be sent to our members in advance. No child care provided.

We plan to hold an In-person Annual Meeting later this summer for the purpose of celebrating all that God has done, as well as providing church updates. Please pray with us for improved conditions for gathering and good health for everyone in our church family!

Bob Sevier Bio - Elder Candidate
Bob and his wife, Pat, moved to Cedar Rapids from Portland, Oregon, in 1988. They have been attending New Covenant since 2000. They enjoy driving around the county, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, fellowship with friends, and visiting family on the West Coast. Bob has served as the Koinonia ABF teacher for over 15 years and volunteers frequently. He enjoys working in his shop and doing projects around the church such as painting and stage set design. Those who know him well describe him as strong-willed, smart, well-read, and loyal. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14: "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
