Middle School Mentorship
Throughout the School Year 2023-2024
Life is full of twists, challenges, highs, and lows. It can be hectic to try and manage it alone at times. Thankfully, you don’t have to do life all on your own. You can have a mentor, a mature follower of Jesus, to disciple you through life's little and big challenges. So whether you’re struggling with a problem or a person, want to grow in your faith, learn more about the Bible, or have important questions about your walk with Jesus, we’re here to help.
Mentoring
- One-on-One Mentoring
You can meet one-on-one with one of our leaders. When you sign up, one of our mentors will contact you (usually one of our volunteer Leaders). Then the two of you can set up your first meet-up. Usually, this is in a public space like a coffee shop or park, but you can always meet at the church if that’s more comfortable for you. During your meet-ups, you’ll walk through some discussion questions, prayer requests, and Scripture. You will likely spend more time on one over the other, depending on your topic, but that’s okay. - One-on-Some Mentoring
Did you know that you are also welcome to meet with a mentor in a small group (no more than 3 students)? This is a great way to take a much deeper look at Scripture and life in a tight-knit setting. The process is the same. Sign up for you and the students you want to join you. A mentor will contact you to set up a time. During your meet-ups, you’ll walk through some discussion questions, prayer requests, and Scripture.
Just so you know, everyone's time will look a little different. Overall, you'll meet up four times.
