Christmas Giving: The Zambia Project
Let the excitement continue to rise and the generosity continue to flow as we partner with the Zambia Project once again this Christmas. Last year we gathered over $42,000 to fund clean water wells, Bible translation, leadership development, and church plantings across Zambia. Let’s do it again!
This Year’s Goal: $35,000. We can’t wait to be a part of:
- Expanding to New Areas (approx. $15,000 per area)
Taking the gospel to new areas is one of the most exciting things we will be a part of this year. Opening a new area requires the purchase of a sat phone, a vehicle, camping equipment, GPS, and solar chargers. It also has logistical costs and salaries for the church planting team. Go make disciples! - Building Two New Church Structures
Structures provide stability and continuity to the mission. The Zambia Project builds church structures only in areas with more established churches that are already running well and have dedicated leaders leading them. Let the building begin! - Digging Water Wells
There is a special sense of joy in providing clean water to a new community. Water wells are built in the new areas. Let the living water flow! - Helping with Logistical Costs
The logistical costs per year in a new area totals about $10,000. This cost covers fuel, food for outreaches, car maintenance, and costs for conferences and gatherings of the churches in the area.
Matt Mackie, Zambia Project Operations Director, will share at both of our worship services at New Covenant on Sunday, December 11, 2022. It will be exciting to hear firsthand how our gifts can be a part of what God is doing in Zambia.
